JUNE 2012
“If you trust only one thing in life, make it your instinct.”

Well I just made it, with just a few days to spare to the end of the Australian financial year. I have never had such the feeling of excitement than racing the clock to June 30 to get my blog in. I feel like an accountant who has just been bought a brand new calculator with titanium batteries.
Now that sounds like an “Adult Shop” for accountants, hmm there may be a business idea in that.

Anyway first things first, lets start with new fans. The first is Mark “Ski” Allan, a famous MC from the local Aussie Hip Hop crew from Perth called Funkola.
“What you don’t know him, OMG.” Oh well I suppose I will have to give him a player profile that I read once from his Principals suspension report from school.
He follows Celtic in the Scottish football league and The Dockers in Aussie Rules football. He is also a guy who hasn’t got his drivers licence which is very enviromentally friendly. However the only drama is he has to ride his bike everywhere, so lucky for him he is an MC and not the DJ in the group, it is a lot easier riding with a mike than the turntables. Actually if he was the MC he could use his bike wheels as the turn table and then the turntables for his wheels.
Interchangable turn tyres, brilliant.
I also have another fan and her name is Monique or may I be very cheeky and say Mon EEEEK. The reason being is because we had a discussion on music as I trying to bribe her into becoming a fan. Anyway we started talking about a singer who was massive in the 80’s, and I said oh yeah that dude his name was Rick Astbury and she said “No dumb dumb his name was Rick Astley”.
I said oh yeah sorry I thinking of Ian Astbury from The Cult, and somehow we got onto to Pearl Jam and she said I don’t know them, and that was when I went Mon EEEEEEEk, so the rest of my working day was taken up explaining who Eddie Veddar and Stone Gossard were which was fun for me, but so so boring for her.
Anyway welcome to the crew.
So what is happening on the music front. Well blow me down with a feather I have actually got some news for you that doesn’t sound like I am making another excuse for doing f*** all in the last 18 months except give out empty promises. We are finally booked in for a gig, that’s right sisters and brothers we are hitting the stage after a long lay off. This time we will be going on as a three piece, after some attempts to poach a couple of lead guitarists.
So to Beau and Troy sorry dobbed you in, so you can’t back out now.
The date is September 2nd 2012 Sunday Fremantle Hotel 44 Tydeman Road North Fremantle 2pm-6pm
The gig is called the Physco, Outlaw and Misfits show.
The first locked in musician to help us share the day is Kate Gilertson a young, singer songwriter who is better looking than the whole three of us together, she has a very sweet voice and great songs. The music is completley different to our music which is the way I like it. I have pinched her bio from her face book page
